Well, I think my blog title kind of sums up how I've been working recently .... bit of this ...bit of that. Flitting from one thing to another. Yup, easily distracted, that's me ;-)
Creating mini altered matchboxes (see here) led to me creating more of the mini journals I made to go inside the boxes. These little tiny creations are so so addictive. I LOVE them!
I made four signatures of various papers, aged with Distress ink, and bound them with lovely Duck Tape (for my UK friends, you can find patterned Duck Tape on Amazon, and if you're lucky in a Hobbycraft store)
I doodled a bit, added scraps of washi tape ...
And a few random magazine clippings (every magazine and catalogue in my house has mysterious holes)
And it all fits in the palm of my hand :-)
I recently taught my mini matchbox class at Art from the Heart (UK). Here we all are having fun, it was a great day with some lovely arty ladies:
As soon as I made it back into my craft room I got distracted by a bit of driftwood which had been lying around on my desk ....
I though I might add this driftwood creation to my art bunting (inspired by Susana Tavares) which started life *here* and is still a work in progress. After a trip to the beach yesterday (on an unusually sunny UK bank holiday) I managed to replenish my drift wood collection hehehe!
And here is the bunting as a work in progress ....
And now I'm off back to my little art room to flit around a bit more. Ciao!
